      In this position…

      The Quality Analyst will report to the Plant Vehicle Evaluation Manager. They will complete assignments from the Variability Reduction Team manufacturing Co-Lead for the assigned Variability Reduction team. The analyst will work amongst the product development team members of the assigned VRT to stay apprised of all emerging issues concerning the assigned VRT.

      Qualifications

      You'll have…

      • Education: High School Diploma
      • Experience: Experience in manufacturing
        • Demonstrated experience in accomplishing tasks and objectives
        • Proven problem-solving abilities
        • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
      • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate compliance to One FORD behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, team participant, and communication skills

      Even better you may have…

      • Experience: Previous automotive and quality analysis experience
      • Previous production supervision
      • Experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions

      Responsibilities

      What you'll do…

      • Attend binning meeting to assist by providing VIN history in QLS and SPC data as applicable.
      • Assist with triage of ECB claims and verbatims with VRT engineers.
        • Determine with VRT team if claim can be seen and contained in plant, implement if feasible.
        • Assist with Dealer call backs, part return requests.
        • Analysis of ECB/AWS
      • Support VRT BSAQ projects (PD, Mfg, STA):
        • Kick off BSAQ project for warranty/customer claims hitting tip levels (Define).
        • Describe critical X with Process Engineer (Measure).
        • Work with Process Engineer on phases 1,2, 3 PJO process (Analyze).
        • Validate BSAQ ICA/PCAs.
      • Pull Paynter Charts to distribute to VRT Co-Leads and Quality Engineering Supervisor.
      • Understand and drive key indicators (0/1/3/MIS R/1000) & Internal indicators to provide feedback to affected area.
      • Recommend and implement immediate containment actions for identified issues (External/Internal).
      • Participate in PJO’s / GEMBAs (CTQ, GQIP Analyze Workstations, etc.).
      • Communicate daily claims to Process Coaches/operators on ALL SHIFTS.
      • Take meeting minutes and attendance for the VRT Report outs
      • Create WES-Work Element Sheets tied to GSPAS and Visual Aids. Verify Illustrations.
      • Populate necessary data fields for tracking on the Top Concern Containment and Validation Mapping (Form-4).
      • Assist VRT in the creation of 8D’s and 6-panels.
      • Map customer field concerns to appropriate inspections per VOPQUG-228 Quality Confirmation Mapping Procedure (Plant Heat Maps).
      • Procedural audits (QOS, Process Control Plans, Contamination, Last Hit Reject, etc.).
      • Maintain PIC Room / Boards.
      • Support trails for engineering changes and process improvements.
      • Review and validate each VRT Health Chart (Sheet Metal, Water Leak, Paint, S&R, HLM, Ext Orn, etc.)
