To perform a wide range of duties to troubleshoot, maintain and repair simple and complex production and facility maintenance on equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Work safely at all times.
*Perform mechanical installation, plus maintenance and repairs of production machinery and equipment.
*Use advanced trades mathematics together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables and all varieties of precision measuring instruments.
*Follow written instructions and possess basic computer skills using common program such as windows operation systems, spreadsheets, word processors or equivalent.
*Meet the company's general requirements for safety, attendance, productivity, quality and team relations.
*Use judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups, operations and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
*Must have the skills and knowledge to repair pumps, coupling alignment, seals, valves and hydraulics or pneumatics.
*Physically capable of moderate to heavy physical efforts equivalent to frequently lifting or moving average to heavy weight parts or materials over 70% of the time. Continuous mental and visual attention when performing diversified operations or activities that require constant alertness; twisting, crouching, pushing/pulling and bending is required over 70% of the time.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, plus 3 years maintenance and or manufacturing experience. Work schedule of 40 hours per week, with some overtime possible. Must have the skills to stick weld, with heli-arc preferred.
