      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide advanced and specialized clerical support to the Program Manager and technical staff
      - Prepare documents, correspondence, reports, and other materials on both general and technical subjects
      - Attend meetings, record minutes, and prepare agendas as needed
      - Maintain inventories of equipment and supplies and manage billing systems for the program area
      - Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent with at least three months of responsible clerical experience
      - Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, including proficiency in MS Office
      - Strong understanding of business English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic
      - Ability to learn tasks quickly and adhere to established departmental policies and routines
      - Must pass a criminal history background investigation and possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon driver's license

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Additional experience in administrative support or clerical roles within community services
      - Familiarity with routine bookkeeping procedures and office equipment operation
      - Strong note-taking and transcription skills
      - Ability to express ideas clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
