Wait Staff/Server

Full Time

Responsibilities:

As a Server in our community dining room, YOU… help create an incredible dining experience; build relationships with residents; and consistently deliver the service a guest would expect in their favorite restaurant. Their satisfaction starts with YOU!

• Servers, create a satisfying dining experience, according to resident preference
• Demonstrate your integrity through strong attendance and dependability
• As a Server you will help prepare the dining room for each meal service, present menus, suggest dishes and assist in drink selection
• Communicate specific resident orders to the back of the house and deliver meals to the residents in a timely manner
• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by our community

Requirements:

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
• Server, must currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Solstice Senior Living
• It is required for a Server to have strong customer service presentation
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a professional attitude
• Be willing to cross train in multiple areas of the community including but not limited to dishwashing, and housekeeping
• Be willing to deliver resident satisfaction in a non-tipped environment.

Work Experience Qualifications

• 1 year of Wait Staff experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English language
• Must be at least 18 years of age when required by State regulations

Educational Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
