Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for the validation of Referral to Treatment Time (RTT) pathways and Follow-Up Not Booked (FUNB) lists. The post holder will update WPAS system to reflect cancer performance.
The post holder will be responsible for the patient pathway from the point a clinician lists the patient for surgical treatment to completion of surgical treatment, organising pre-assessment, confirming treatment dates and updating systems.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the validation of Referral to Treatment Time pathways and Follow-Up Not Booked lists. The post holder will update WPAS system to reflect cancer performance, accurate patient pathways including the use of non-WPAS events to stop or restart clocks, updating activity outcomes.
The post holder will provide Support to Managers and Operational Support Managers with a weekly update of validation work carried out, which should include details of current and future month end patients.
The post holder will be required to support the Management Team to manage the process of in the outsourcing of patients to private providers and the arranging of additional activity to support waiting list initiatives.
