Behavioral Health Technician responsibilities:

• Providing direct care and close supervision off facility patients and documenting behavior
• Developing positive, healthy relationships with patients and co-workers
• Following facility policies & procedures,implementing treatment plans, and providing crisis intervention as necessary
• Act as a positive and healthy role model in using appropriate counseling skills by de-escalating aggression, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive re-inforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture

Village Behavioral Health is a psychiatric residential treatment center that offers a full spectrum of treatment options for children and adolescents ages 10-17. A uniqueness about Village Behavioral Health is that we use nature as part of our therapeutic process. We are nestled in Louisville, TN right on the Tennessee River spread out over 65 wooded acres.

Pay Range:$15 to $16/hour depending on education level and experience

Available Shifts:

• FT Day Shift 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, with rotating weekends
• FT Evening Shift 4:00 pm - 12:00 am, with rotating weekends
• FT Night Shift 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, with rotating weekends
• Shift Diffs range from $1.25 to $4.00 per hour.
