Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a part time Ward Clerk on Clarendon Ward. This is a physical health ward based at the Evington Centre in the grounds of Leicester General Hospital.
Ward Clerks are a vital part of our very busy inpatient multi-disciplinary teams. You will often be the first point of contact on the telephone or face to face for visitors, relatives and external clinicians so you will be responsible for providing an excellent first impression.
The ward provides sub-acute care, complex rehabilitation and palliative care. You will always be visible and a source of knowledge and support for staff to ensure the smooth running of the ward.
If you are highly organised, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with people then this role is for you!
The post available is 30 hours per week which will be worked as four days, 08.00 - 16.00 across a 7 day per week rota. The ward is one of thirteen which form the Trusts Inpatient Community Health Services Division.
