      Our Supply Chain department is in need of one more team member to help us keep our essential operations going!
      We are hiring for a Warehouse and Inventory Specialist with strong data entry skills and professional communication skills (verbal and written). The right candidate will also need to be detailed, organized, and a strong multi-tasker.

      The Warehouse and Inventory Specialist, under the direction of the Supply Chain Supervisor of Donations, this position accepts, warehouses, distributes, and repurposes donated goods received by Supply Chain via ALSAC Donor Services.

      *The shift for this role is Monday - Friday 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. *

      Other duties this role is responsible for include:
      - The utilization of a motored vehicle to transport inventory to delivery locations on and off campus.
      - Coordination of scheduled pickup of donated goods as requested by the Supply Chain Supervisor of Donations from external sources.
      - Returning donated items to ALSAC Donor Services area for processing prior to St. Jude acceptance.

      - A minimum of two (2) years experience working in a warehouse inventory managed environment

      Minimum Education and/or Training:

      Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by Law:

      • (LC: DLD-TN or DLD-ARK or DLD-MISS) Must have a valid driver’s license from the employee’s state of residence and be insurable by St. Jude’s insurance carrier.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Accepts and warehouses incoming donations. Accepts incoming donations according to policy and procedures. Prepares inventory for count by categorizing incoming inventory. Provides count for incoming inventory and places into appropriate bin location/s within 24 hours of receipt. Records count/s for data entry through utilization of manual forms or system software. Files documentation appropriately for future referencing if needed. Maintains bin locations appropriate for existing inventory. Assists Supervisor of Donations in maintaining item masters for inventory.
      • Distributes and repurpose inventory on-hand. Pulls/picks orders generated for distribution from inventory according request/s. Verifies orders and stage orders for delivery. Delivers orders to requesting locations according to prearranged schedules or requests. Obtains signatures for all orders delivered. Returns signatures captured and files documentation in appropriate files. Arranges delivery time with external sources for repurposed items under the direction of the Supervisor of Donations. Delivers repurposed items and obtains signature from source. Files documentation in appropriate file for future referencing if needed. Performs inventory counts as requested by Supervisor of Donations.
      • Operates a motor vehicle to support donations operation. Adheres to the institutional driver safety policy. Furthermore, subject to and comply with local, state and federal agencies relevant to driving. Maintains vehicle through regular vehicle inspections which includes schedule service visits. Refuels vehicle as needed and in compliance with the Facility Operations & Maintenance Program. Utilizes vehicle to transport inventory to delivery locations. Transports internal and external customers as required.
      • Maintains equipment and supplies for donation operation. Utilizes equipment in safe manner. Inspects equipment and remove unsafe equipment from operation. Notifies supervisor of unsafe equipment. Provides inventory list to supervisor for supplies needed. Maintains storage of supplies. Maintains visibility of equipment and supplies used in operation. Assists Supervisor of Donations in submitting supply and equipment budget.
      • Performs other related duties as assigned in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution
      • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

        Compensation

        In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $19.00 - $30.00 per hour for the role of Warehouse and Inventory Specialist.
