      Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has immediate openings for Warehouse Associate on our 1st shift at our climate-controlled distribution facility located in Ashland, VA. In this position, you will learn various materials handler tasks and would be a key part of the Operations team. You will build a career with a high-tech company working in a hands-on environment. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the broad range of equipment, processes, and technologies employed in our operation.       Responsibilities

      • Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (such as electric pallet riders, order pickers, and forklifts, etc.)
      • Utilize RF technology to perform distribution functions such as picking, packing and shipping orders, receiving, put away and stock replenishment
      • Deliver material to production lines in a timely manner
      • Learn and use our inventory management system and enter materials transactions
      • Work with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders
      • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

      Qualifications

      • Flexibility to work on our 1st shift (Monday thru Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm)
      • Prior experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment
      • Desire to learn additional warehouse equipment
      • 1 year shipping or receiving experience (preferred)
      • Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
      • Have a valid Driver’s License
      • Basic math and computer skills
      • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
      • Ability for continuous learning
      • Ability to stand for an extended period of time
      • Ability to move to surrounding workstations
      • Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
      • Ability to work safely, wear appropriate PPE, and follow safety procedures
