Description: Warehouse Associate/Backup Yard Hostler Driver

Seeking candidates to help in shipping department for a variety of staging, loading and utility duties. Role will consist of collecting windows on a rack and offloading them into the corresponding dock or truck for shipment. Utility role will be wrapping windows for shipment, loading, staging and other support as needed. Looking for candidates that need to be able to lift up to 75lbs on a regulars basis and figure out how to handle awkward shaped windows and that has the hostler truck experience/willingness to drive in the outdoors with incoming/outgoing freight within the facility

Starting Pay: $22.00 Hourly

Location: Fife, WA

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday-Friday W/Potential Overtime

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Warheouse

• Ensures warehouse operations and processes maximize efficiency and sales
• Wrapping windows for shipment, loading, staging of products
• Responsible for accurate receiving and pulling of product
• Completes required paperwork and provides to the appropriate department
• Maintains warehouse to company standards on appearance and functionality
• Operate in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment

Responsibilities - Yard Hostler

• Move trailers and other equipment around the yard using a yard hostler
• Ensure trailers are properly positioned for loading and unloading
• Perform safety checks on equipment before and after use
• Communicate with other yard personnel to coordinate movements
• Maintain a clean and organized yard
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Work Environment:

Warehouse and shipping department for a manufacturing facility of glass windows and doors for residential and commercial buildings

Employees have the opportunity to jump up to $23-24/hr and then do monthly raises topping out at $25/hr during the first year
