      What does a Warehouse Associate - Cycle Counter do at Rinnai?

      Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory. The Cycle Counter will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting and processing of material. The Cycle Counter will also assist the Warehouse and Materials teams in locating materials.

      • This position is located at 700 Hudson Rd, Griffin, GA 30224.
      • Hours: 6:00am -2:30pm with occasional required overtime.
      • Schedule: Monday - Friday

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      PRODUCTION

      • Perform daily cycle counts.
      • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
      • Report discrepancies and any damaged products.
      • Maintain product identification and location program.
      • Ensure materials are in proper locations.
      • Conducts searches to locate misclassified inventory.
      • Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed.
      • Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
      • Maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse appearance.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      KNOWLEDGE

      • High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
      • Minimum 1 year experience
      • Continuous improvement knowledge (preferred)

      SKILLS

      • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
      • Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
      • Forklift experience preferred.
      • Cherry picker experience preferred.

      ABILITIES

      • Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
      • Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment.
      • Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds.
      • Work cooperatively within a team environment.
      • Flexible work hours to account for overtime as needed.
      • Must be able to move from one facility to the other as needed, and as required.
      • Must be forklift and cherry picker certified withing 60 days of employment.

      Physical Requirements:

      Physical Activities

      • Constantly remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
      • Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
      • Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
      • Constantly assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
      • Communicating with other to exchange information.

      Environmental Conditions

      • Noisy environments
      • Occasional small or enclosed spaces.

      Physical Demands

      • Constantly sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
      • Occasionally, light work that includes moving objects up to 70 pounds
