      Position: Warehouse Associate I
      Location: 917 Rosewood Drive, Columbia, SC 29201-4637
      Duration: 3 Months
      Pay Rate: $16/hour
      Schedule: Monday - Friday (7 AM - 3 PM)

      Qualifications:
      IMPORTANT:
      • Unloading/stacking tires continuously from trailer onto pallets. Very physical.
      • Candidates must have steel-toe shoes for safety compliance and report on time starting from day one.
      • This job is physically demanding; candidates must be comfortable with the responsibilities, prepared to complete all assigned tasks, and available to work the full day.
      • The manager requires reliable candidates who can adhere to scheduled hours.
      • Temps must arrive wearing steel-toe shoes to meet safety standards and maintain punctuality.
      • Candidates must fully understand the physical demands of the role and be comfortable with the responsibilities involved. They should be properly informed about the job requirements and confident in their ability to perform the tasks assigned.

      Experience(s) that Best Prepare You:
      Education : High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
      Experience : Prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision.

      Physical Demands / Work Environment / Travel Requirements:
      • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste, and/or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
      • Work Environment: Employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Noise level is usually moderate.

      Responsibilities:
      • Prioritize and pick product to fill orders and stage product for loading.
      • Physically move and lift products weigh as much as 50 pounds.
      • Organize warehouse stock.
      • Assist in daily closing down of warehouse.
      • Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over- and under-shipments, return of products to vendor, etc.
      • Assist in periodic inventory counts.
      • Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain an operator license if required.
      • Load and unload delivery trucks – requiring frequent physical moving and lifting of product weighing up to 50 pounds.
      • Assist in verifying all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in amount, size, and type; inform management of inventory and supply shortages; assist in periodic inventory counts.
      • Designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing space for overflow.
      • Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial/housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock, surrounding areas; keeping floors clear of debris; maintaining bathrooms; assisting in daily warehouse closing.
      • Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, and segregate defective product from normal inventory flow.
      • Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparing paperwork. May assist in daily warehouse closing.
