What does a successful Warehouse Associate do?

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be tasked with efficiently and promptly performing various warehouse responsibilities. These include entering computer inventory, ensuring the proper storage and staging of materials, and operating warehouse equipment such as Forklifts and Manual Pallet Jacks to stage material for pickup and maintain an organized warehouse. You will also receive training on warehouse functions like picking, staging, and delivering materials to the Production team. Additionally, there may be occasions when you are required to drive a box truck to collect materials from our Plainfield location.

What you will do:

• Accurately receive and sort incoming shipments in accordance with packing slips.
• Adhere to established procedures for counting and verifying items to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Enter received items into a computerized tracking system for efficient inventory management.
• Retrieve and prepare the correct inventory to fulfill internal orders and ensure timely processing of outbound supply orders.
• Update system database through accurate data entry to ensure real-time inventory information.
• Conduct thorough quality checks to maintain the highest standards of product integrity.

What you will need to have:

• Possess a valid driver’s license for at least the last three years.
• Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
• Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation).
• Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, and bend often.

What would be great to have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Ability to analyze data and provide insights on logistics and supply chain management.
