      Warehouse Associate

      Job Purpose

      Job Purpose

      This role performs duties associated with selecting and packing orders, receiving, replenishments, puts away, and inventory functions.

      Essential Responsibilities

      Process, package, and ship orders accurately. Select outbound orders using the RF device.

      Receives and examines inbound freight delivered by LTL or small parcel.

      25%

      Puts away inbound cart or lift truck receipts using RF device.

      15%

      Check, verify and fill active or pick slots for outbound orders.

      10%

      Ensure correct cycle count and reserve slots for inventory accuracy.

      · Ability to operate, pallet jack, lift truck and other warehouse equipment. (Certification for lift truck required after start of employment)

      · Ability to read and follow directions

      · Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system

      Warehouse: Physical Demands: While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk on various types of flooring, utilize manual dexterity, talk, see, hear, smell and perform repetitive movements with both hands and/or both feet. The employee is frequently required to reach at waist level or overhead. The employee is occasionally required to sit, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb up to 30 ft. Working Conditions: While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee may be exposed to working in indoor, outdoor, cold, freezing, heated, and wet/humid working conditions. Safety Risk Factors: The employee is frequently required to twist back and/or neck, walk on a slippery or cluttered floor surface, work with hazardous equipment and be exposed to sharp objects. The employee is occasionally required to be exposed to loud noise, skin irritants, nuisance dust, fumes and sprays, hazardous cleaning solutions and other toxins Overall Required Equipment: Various types of carts, case cutters, and cleaning supplies and equipment. Required to use computer occasionally. Department Specific Required: Equipment pallet jacks, materials handling equipment (MHE), other warehouse specific devices Preferred Equipment Pulling Requirement: 250 lbs. Lifting Requirement: 70 lbs.
