Warehouse Associates form part of Stocking, Shipping, or Express teams and may rotate among teams to stage, stock, pull, and package products for distribution to various Stores.

Job Description

Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Receive, stock and fill parts orders with a high degree of accuracy, speed and efficiency
2. Learn new part numbers as they are introduced and shelve logically
3. Follow correct procedures for operating material handling equipment and ensure palletizing of parts are done safely and efficiently.
4. Identify damage or shortages to incoming shipments and note on bill of laden
5. Use scan gun to check inventory accurately and to effectively take inventory
6. Stage product on pallets, shrink wrap to prevent loss, and load pallets on trucks.
7. Keeps work area clean to avoid potential accidents and to allow for rapid loading.
8. Fill in as express driver when needed.
9. Works in a safe manner following all safety procedures, rules and regulations. Notify DC management of stock, forklift or building damage, or any matters of concern.
10. Help team members maintain a clean, organized floor
11. Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
12. Complete all napatraining.com courses as deemed necessary by management.
13. Understand, keep up to date and adhere to all Walker Auto Stores company policies.

Education and/or Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent;

License/Certification:
• NC Drivers’ License
