Job Description

- Receive deliveries from vendors: loading and unloading trucks
- Inspect, date and inventory orders received daily
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Work with shipping and receiving reports
- Must be able to understand specifications to determine quality of product
- Check accuracy of orders received
- Inspect forklift and pallet jack daily
- Return unwanted products to vendors
- Organize and distribute products to coolers
- Accurately pick and distribute orders for locations
- Keep work area neat and sanitary
- Follow directions of management and supervisory personnel as instructed and work independently without direct supervision
- No late evenings! Work days are typically M/W/Th/F/Su, flexibility is required during holidays and dependent on business needs

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Promptness and dependability
- Able to withstand cool temperatures
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Follow proper lifting techniques as defined by Dierbergs
- Work actions include standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping and squatting
- Work in varied temperatures

Produce Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate provides support to the Dierbergs stores by handling shipping and receiving tasks, picking timely and accurate orders, and ensuring product quality. You’ll handle a variety of responsibilities including:
