You will become a trusted member of a highly flexible, adaptive, and quality-conscious Sr. Warehouse Associate Team. The primary focus is to ensure our customers continuously receive their orders picked correctly, free of damage, packed, wrapped, labeled, and shipped according to our customer's timelines, specifications, and requirements. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to all activities with P/P/S to our B2B, B2C, and a full menu of value-added services and product returns.

      Job Description:

      Order fulfillment/picking using pick-to-light and RF technology for B2B customer orders according to pick sheet and routing guide and work instruction (correct item, quantity, specification)

      Pick and prepare Amazon third-party fulfillment inventory and supply according to work instructions (correct item, quantity, and specification)

      Perform assembly and kitting projects (may include packaging assembly, counting, printing labels, and detailed by-work instruction

      Pick and prepare B2b and B2C orders using pick-to-light and pick sheet for full case and pallet picking

      Responsible for shipping all outgoing products

      Working in an ERP, WMS, TMS, or other business-critical software.

      Limited volume may include international paperwork and additional forms

      Identify incorrect items/orders and immediately correct and notify the supervisor

      Returns - Receiving, opening, inspecting, staging, disposing of, cleaning, repacking returned products, and crediting customer returns.

      Repackaging and palletizing of products for delivery to warehouse and or resale.

      Maintain knowledge of all products carried by David C Cook

      Monitor and order critical p/p/s supplies and goods as needed

      Work in a team-based environment to pick, pack, and ship orders to our customers.

      Contribute to a safe work environment and keep work areas neat, clean, and secure, continuously focusing on housekeeping and safety.

      Interact with supervisors, leads, and workgroups as you exchange information

      Participate in the implementation and contribute ideas and suggestions for continuous improvements to the distribution process in a group setting.

      Assignment to other functional tasks may be done daily or less than daily.

      All other duties and special projects are as assigned.

      Qualifications


      Position Requirements:

      Required Skills:

      • As an entry-level warehouse associate, you must know basic general warehouse layout, order fulfillment, item identification codes, warehouse procedures, and familiarity with following SOPs.
      • Able to pick, pack, stack, wrap, move, arrange, load, unload, count, and rotate items on/off equipment.
      • Requires the ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds cartons repetitively and the ability to lift 100 pounds if needed while being assisted by a team member.
      • Can walk and stand 8-10 hours per day
      • Able to read, copy, and record figures and are comfortable with numbers, and have good math skills
      • Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of measure, and labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.
      • Basic skill in the use of shrink-wrap, void-fill machine, strapping equipment, manual dollies, pallet jacks, carts, and hand tools used in material handling tasks such as wrenches, drills, pliers, strapping, and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers, and related equipment.
      • Experience with heavy machinery, such as Sit-down, Stand-up, Order Picker Forklifts, and electric and manual pallet jacks.

      Formal Education: High-School graduate or G.E.D equivalence

      Specialized Knowledge/Certification: ERP, WMS, TMS, Handheld Scanners, RF handhelds, Pick-to-Light, and beginner-level skills in Microsoft Excel & Word.

      Equipment Knowledge: Automatic carton sealers, automatic carton packaging equipment, kit building equipment, cold/hot sealing, and material handling equipment, including various types of forklifts, lift truck certification, and essential lift truck maintenance.

      On the job Years of Experience: 0-2 years experience as a Warehouse Associate in B2B and B2C in a P/P/S environment to achieve daily service level goals.

      The job Activity Experience: You will have on-the-job experience in ALL activity areas of the following: pick, pack, ship, for B2B and B2C, Value Added Services – hot seal, cold seal, kit building, stickering, inserting, reworking, cleaning, recovering, QA., special projects
