      We are looking for a Warehouse Associate

      to join our team in Vancouver, BC

      As a Warehouse Associate, you will successfully perform the specified procedure or task within all Warehouse Departments. You will perform these tasks with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and warehouse performance as well as adhere to set quality standards.

      Reporting to the Manager, Vancouver PDC, you will receive, stock, pick, pack and ship spare parts within the Volkswagen and Audi dealer network. You will achieve set targets as related to productivity; achieve predetermined targets as related to quality; adhere to all PMP goals and objectives; and support overall team goals of productivity and efficiency in accordance with PDC safety requirements.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Must be capable of operating any warehouse equipment including all material handling equipment, stretch wrap machine and any packing machines
      • Receive and Stock inbound spare parts while noting any quantity and quality discrepancies as well as recording any damages - per Standard Operating Procedure
      • Pick, Pack and Ship spare parts orders to Dealers as needed - per Standard Operating Procedure
      • Unload or load trailers, verify bills of lading, and check for transit damage
      • Must be able to develop a good working knowledge of each department's processes and procedures, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping
      • Observe all safety rules, quality standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for assigned tasks
      • Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness and safety of all areas of the PDC
      • Be able to lift up to and including 50 lbs or 22.6 Kg's without assistance
      • Understand and explain to others what each piece of information printed on a receiving and picking label means and its relevance to the assigned task
      • Ensure that all necessary supplies are stocked in their respective areas
      • Verify inventory
      • Process Dealer and Vendor returns
      • Complete all training required to accomplish assigned tasks
      What we’re asking for:
      • High school Diploma/GED required; Associate Degree/College Degree is an asset
      • Valid Forklift license
      • Formal WHMIS training
      • A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective business partner, team player, and collaborator
      • 3-5 years of warehousing experience, automotive experience would be an asset
      • Able to perform physical activity at a sustained pace within the PDC, including walking, bending, and lifting 50 pounds (22.6 kilograms) or more on a consistent basis
      • Able to work in high, narrow aisles
      • Partners at all levels of the organization, with ability to negotiate and influence to achieve results
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
      • Strong computer skills; experience in SAP's ET2filO system is considered an asset
