- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage the dispatch team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Conduct return-to-work interviews, 1-2-1s, and performance reviews to support team development and wellbeing.
- Motivate and supervise warehouse personnel, ensuring adequate cover during breaks and absences.
- Act as the first point of escalation for team issues, taking ownership of incident management and implementing corrective or preventative actions.
- Operational Oversight
- Allocate labour effectively in conjunction with the putaway team to meet operational needs and maintain workflow balance.
- Take full ownership of dispatch operations, including load creation, pick release, pick confirmation, and ship confirmation.
- Deputize for the Team Leader when required, ensuring continuity of operations and administrative procedures.
- All damage is investigated product, MHE, facility.
- Process adherence to load checks, correct pallets , heights, condition.
- Team ownership and cross training ensuring operational performance on shift.
- Team absence management.
- Compliance & Process Control
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Hygiene, Environmental, and Housekeeping standards.
- Lead and complete GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) audits, ensuring all processes meet regulatory and internal standards.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure smooth coordination across warehouse functions.
- Perform random process checks to ensure adherence to RF gun procedures and operational standards.
- Team performance reviews.
- Inventory & Systems
- Support cycle count accuracy and adherence to inventory plans.
- Provide cover for Goods In, RMA processing, and basic gatehouse duties as needed.
- Decision-Making & Problem Solving
- Demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment, balancing operational priorities with team needs.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
