      Description

      We are currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk to work from our manufacturing facility located in Kings Mountain, NC.

      The Warehouse Clerk is responsible to receive, store and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. This position works Monday to Friday: 10:00 PM to 06:30 AM.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Check in all trucks (both inbound and outbound) and assign a door.
      • Coordinate the loading/unloading of the trucks using available warehouse labor.
      • Schedule by phone all inbound and outbound trucking appointments adhering to the schedule put forth by the supervisor.
      • Create all necessary Bills of Lading and any other required paperwork for customer shipments.
      • Verify that all required paperwork is present and update the daily receiving log.
      • Responsible for the accurate logging of receiving and shipping information into D365.
      • Print labels for any items or shipments requiring labels.
      • Assist with any other warehouse functions as needed.
      • Generate and turn in daily shipping and receiving logs.
      • Plays an active role in the monthly, quarterly and year-end physical inventories.
      • Perform any other duties as required by any Manager, Supervisor or Lead.

      Non-Essential Functions

      • Works with management and fellow associates to ensure Food Safety programs are followed.
      • Reports food, office or operational safety problems to a supervisor or manager for initiating action.
      • Performs other duties as assigned that will impact and support the overall outcome of the company and department objectives.

      Reporting Relationships

      • Reports to the Warehouse Manager

      Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

      • Able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
      • Must have the ability to multi-task.
      • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
      • Must possess intermediate math and reading skills.
      • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
      • Must be team oriented.
      • Strong commitment to company values.

      Health and Safety

      • Responsible to follow all safety rules and work safely at all times.
      • Responsible to report unsafe equipment and practices to supervisor.
      • Must adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices.

      Working Conditions

      • Seasonal temperature changes in warehouse.
      • Personal Protective Equipment usage where required.
