      The Logistics Coordinator are responsible supporting the tracking and updates of our domestic transportation shipments including updating system and reports with tracking updates, ensuring all trucks en route have successfully transmitted the Advanced Order File and subsequent EDI 215/214 messages and order drops are those providers who are not set up with the AOF 215/214 process. After the 3PL trucks leave the warehouse, review the orders transmitted to the hub to make sure it is received without error. As directed, communicate with warehouse, regional team, and carriers to get updates and provide status updates.

      Essential Functions and Competencies of the Position:

      • Tracking trucks with transportation carriers
      • Submit and monitor all AOF 215 transmissions to the hubs
      • Monitor and track outbound trucks for on time arrival to hubs
      • Monitor on time delivery of store transfers to the hubs daily
      • Report to OM/AOM’s if there will be anything coming late
      • Adapts to change quickly and easily and performs effectively during times of change; demonstrates the ability to multi-task and manages completing priorities effectively
      • Ability to navigate systems, spreadsheets, etc and utilize tools to provide visibility and updates.
      • Builds respectful and effective working relationships; collaborates with others to achieve common goals
      • Strives to meet or exceed the expectations of internal and external customer standards
      • Demonstrates initiative by acting as a self-starter; takes on increased responsibility to enhance one’s contribution
      • Displays a high degree of integrity, honesty and takes responsibility for one’s own actions; shows consistency between words and actions

      Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:

      • Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
      • Years of experience: Some customer service and call center experience preferred
      • Valid Driver’s license preferred
      • Computer proficiency of the Microsoft Office suite. Working knowledge of computer programs and ability to learn new functions / tasks as needed
      • Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.
      • Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Performing tasks using a computer and telephone daily
      • Repetitive processing steps.
      • Maintain confidentiality of customer’s information.
      • Always willing to adapt to change and keep an open mind to training
      • Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
