      The Warehouse Floater performs a variety of functions including but not limited to; industrial forklift/reach truck/high-lift operation, product selection, receiving and palletizing while adhering to USDA Safety and Sanitation Regulations and customer specifications.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      • Operate forklift/reach truck to lower stock to ground level pick slots from higher level reserve slots
      • Identify and transport material to and from storage areas and loading docks
      • Place received stock in higher level reserve slots
      • Perform operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, and lift controls
      • Select and pack (Selection) orders per customer specification
      • Scan product as directed to capture required data
      • Ship and receive product utilizing assigned material handling equipment
      • Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned by management
      • Work continually in cooler (35°F- 45°F) & freezer (-10°F to +10°F), company apparel provided

      Requirements

      • High School graduate or GED preferred
      • Basic Reading, Writing and Math skills
      • Prior experience operating a forklift/high-lift is required
      • Minimum six months warehouse experience required
      • Ability to frequently lift 20lbs. - 80lbs.
      • Work overtime as needed

      Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $26 and $31 .
