      Warehouse Material Handler

      Richmond, CA

      $19hr (Weekly pay + Benefits + overtime)

      6 months contract (Great potential for extension or permanent)

      Full- time: M-F 7am-3:30pm

      **Must have a stable work history, be reliable, able to learn easily and enjoys working in warehouse and production**

      Our client is a global team of innovators, leaders, creators, builders, and problem solvers. They develop state-of-the-art instruments and reagents for life science research laboratories and healthcare facilities all over the world. Together they are helping people everywhere live longer, healthier lives. They are looking for Warehouse/Material Handler who's main role will be supporting the distribution in all material handling functions. These functions will include and not limited to: box making, labelling, cold environments processing, picking (walking), packing (standing) carrier package sorting, and safety clean up. Processing areas are rotated weekend weekly with material handlers flexing between area of operation thought the day. Meeting daily shipping objectives is the goal.

      • Flexibility: Working with peers learning the operation and able to change task rapidly to support the daily demands.
      • Productive: Staying focused on the end result. Completing competing priorities in a timely manner.
      • Safety: Cleaning as they go, staying vigilant in their surroundings.
      Requirements
      • High school diploma or GED required
      • Ability to have good reading and writing skills in English
      • 1+ yrs related experience, working in warehouse, production, or manufacturing
      • Experience with packaging finished products, seals bags, pouches and labels
      • Basic warehouse experience understanding of warehouse lay out
      • Basic computer skills with use of any warehouse management system.
      • Ability to work in face paced environment while moving upright for 6 to 10 hours.
      • Positive attitude with the can-do motivation to get tasks completed.
      • Ability to lift at least 15 lbs. and use equipment such as pallet jacks and lift assist equipment for heavier material
      • Requires Steel toe shoes
      • Must pass drug screening and background check.
