What You Will Do
Provide materials support and related services for operations in all service areas.
Issue and receive materials, stock shelves, retrieve items from shelves, and package items for shipping using tools and equipment including:
Create material replenishment requisitions and coordinate transfers in and out of materials distribution center and satellite locations.
Process material requests by reviewing documentation and coordinating requests with stakeholders.
Help review satellite transfers of materials from materials distribution center or other locations.
Identify material levels and respond by communicating adjustments in replenishment of quantities to make maximum use of stores space.
Identify and resolve incorrect shipment of material, expedite material, and review materials invoices for payment.
Compile, maintain, and prepare records and reports including:
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need
Preferred Associate's Degree Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following work-related experience:
Preference of 1+ years' experience in supply chain administration.
Working knowledge in reading and interpreting various types of company forms, transfer and purchase documents, freight bills and invoices, inventory lists, stock-out reports, manuals, computer print outs, stores documents, purchase requisitions, supplier packing lists, job orders, and manuals.
Research and resolve purchase order and inventory discrepancies.
Interact, advise, and communicate with internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Demonstrated ability in the use and function of office equipment applicable to position including computers and applicable software.
Prior work experience and a demonstrated ability to learn:
Storeroom and inventory policies and procedures
Company purchasing procedures and budgets
Expediting processes
Oracle ERP system and Meter Management System (MMS)
Word processing, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Maintain physical and/or electronic filing systems
Handling confidential and/or sensitive information
Fleet vehicle inspections along with Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reporting
An understanding of policies, procedures, and use of terminology applicable to position.
Experience composing and preparing correspondence and reports.
Read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license.
Requires travel to other company offices and facilities.
Preferred CDL
Preferred Occupational Safety & Health Admin (OSHA) Forklift Certification
Preferred DOT Medical card, as required for certain MDC locations, to operate a one-ton company truck.
Lift, push, pull, or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds 20 25 times a day; up to 20 pounds 3 5 times a day; up to 30 pounds 3 5 times a day; up to 40 pounds 1-2 times a day; over 50 pounds 1-2 times a day.
Safely maneuver over, under, and around shelving, pallets, meter baskets and equipment while working with inventory assets.
Bending, kneeling, and other similar body positions while working inventory duties such as meter records, cycle counts, material pulling, and similar related tasks.
Climbing on and off forklift 10-15 times a day.
Walking on multiple services such as concrete, asphalt, rock, etc.
Operate tools and equipment required.
Ability to communicate and exchange information and instructions.
Visual requirements to perform job duties.
