      Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and help drive our operation forward? We are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent, Warehouse Operative to join us at our team in Tamworth, supporting our customer, Sainsbury’s. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders, you could be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.

      You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days out of 7’ shift pattern, with 3 shifts available - 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 or 22:00-06:00, all shifts include regular weekend working

      As a Warehouse Operative you’ll get:

      • An hourly rate of £12.42, that’s a basic salary of £25,833.60
      • Additional £1.08 per hour for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday
      • Additional £0.78 per hour for a PM shift allowance and £1.30 per hour for a night shift allowance

      What you’ll do on a typical day:

      • Using MHE you will be picking and packing orders from a wide range of products, checking, wrapping, and palletising them for loading onto delivery vehicles
      • Get involved in other warehouse-related duties that may arise during your shift
      • Comply with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse

      What you need to succeed at GXO:

      • Ability to operate MHE equipment – full training provided
      • Previous experience in a similar warehousing position would be advantageous
      • Flexibility and a ‘can do’, right first time and passionate approach
      • Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling and pushing
