JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor
Region: North America

Overview / Accountability
•The warehouse operative will work under the direction of the warehouse supervisor.
The primary responsibility is to ensure warehouse movement is conducted according to site SOP, while meeting inbound/outbound timelines. Accurate recording of all material movement is essential to site operations, and the ability to meet departmental KPI’s.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
•Accurately record material movement using RF scanning tools.
•Participate in inventory audit activities (i.e. cycle counts and discards)
•Create relationships with team members; share knowledge and participate in team activities
•Promote change in a positive manner by supporting new initiatives and processes
•Continuously work to improve warehouse, shipping and receiving processes
•Support customer driven timelines for order fulfilment
•Document activities and measurements according to work instructions and processes
•Participate and complete tasks as assigned; including those outside normal daily duties
•Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for warehouse errors and misses
•Effective and safe operation of fork truck.

Physical Abilities•Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly through a 12-hour work period
•Bend over and pull shrink film from a roll on the wrap machine
•Climb onto and off of a forklift repeatedly through a 12-hour work period
Sanitation Duties
•Cleaning personal work area, and support cleaning activities in the department and outside department as needed.
•Removal of garbage, cardboard, and other refuse created during the shift
•Sweeping, mopping, dusting and other general sanitation duties as required
Machine/Equipment Operation
Fork Truck•Must possess the ability to pass a written test fork certification of fork truck operation.
•Must show the ability to effectively and safely operate a fork truck to the criteria of the company’s guidelines.
Shrink Wrap Machine.
•Must possess and show the ability to safely operate the shrink wrap machines to effectively wrap pallets to the company standard
Baler.
•Must possess and show the ability to safely operate of baling machine to the company standard
