DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
• Assist with the unloading of vehicles and the checking-in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
• Be responsible for picking specified items from storage or warehouses and prepare them for shipment.
• Pick and pack products which includes unboxing, labelling, re-boxing and stacking products on pallets.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures - essential
• Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
• Interested in working Part time hours
• OK to work weekends only 9.hrs5 Sat/ 9.5hrs Sun
• Working in a multi-dimensional warehouse with ambient, chilled, alchohol and freezer environment on rotation
• Immediate start dates are available
