  Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join the team based at Sherburn in Elmet.

  This is a full-time, permanent position, 40.15 hours per week – 11.5 hours per shift, working either days or nights on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

  The day shift pattern is 07:00-19:00 and night shift pattern is 19:00-07:00.

  • You will be paid £10.50 per hour, (plus extra £2.36 per hour on nights between 10pm and 6am)

  What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • You will be working on either red or blue shift. Each of which have a range of departments which covers all warehousing disciplines including returns
  • Meet and exceed the productivity standards for your department
  • Able to listen and react to verbal and written instructions to complete individual and team tasks
  • Undertaking a variety of work which has set processes or procedures that must be followed every time, to ensure compliance
  • Supporting the management with any other related tasks

  What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal

  • Able to work on your own and as part as a team
  • Maintaining Health and Safety in the workplace
