      Overview / Responsibilities

      Wood is currently recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team in LNGP, Port Moresby on a rotational schedule. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator will perform duties in a manner that protects safety, health and the environment, whilst conforming to quality and time requirements.

      Responsibilities

      • Operate equipment meeting all WOOD / EMPNG safety standards and so that above normal maintenance is not required
      • Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Supervisor on movement of equipment and material within the Warehouse
      • Distribution and designation of equipment and materials throughout the Warehouse and Stores as requested and scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor
      • Responsible for all local store-based materials, consumables handling, tools and equipment dispatch activities.

      Skills / Qualifications

      • 3 years in a stores role, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
      • Relevant mobile Plant and Equipment Tickets (e.g. Forklift, Telehandler, Crane, etc.)
      • Competent Forklift, Telehandler operator, with experience with loading and offloading containers and trucks
      • Experience in warehouse operations including Manual receipting of incoming stock Inventory Control
      • Basic computer skills in Excel/ Outlook Stocktaking.
