Job Description
- Req#: 130198
- Operate equipment meeting all WOOD / EMPNG safety standards and so that above normal maintenance is not required
- Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Supervisor on movement of equipment and material within the Warehouse
- Distribution and designation of equipment and materials throughout the Warehouse and Stores as requested and scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Responsible for all local store-based materials, consumables handling, tools and equipment dispatch activities.
- 3 years in a stores role, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
- Relevant mobile Plant and Equipment Tickets (e.g. Forklift, Telehandler, Crane, etc.)
- Competent Forklift, Telehandler operator, with experience with loading and offloading containers and trucks
- Experience in warehouse operations including Manual receipting of incoming stock Inventory Control
- Basic computer skills in Excel/ Outlook Stocktaking.
Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team in LNGP, Port Moresby on a rotational schedule. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator will perform duties in a manner that protects safety, health and the environment, whilst conforming to quality and time requirements.
