Typical Job Duties:

• Perform scheduled and random patrols throughout the warehouse, perimeter, and parking areas
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems
• Enforce facility access procedures for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors
• Check shipping and receiving areas for suspicious activity or unauthorized personnel
• Ensure loading docks, entrances, and exits are secured
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies
• Document incidents and prepare detailed written reports
• Assist with loss prevention efforts, including monitoring high-value inventory
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues found during patrols
• Provide support during emergency situations such as evacuations or medical calls

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Standard computer / technology skills needed
• Professional verbal / written communication skills
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
• Customer service background preferred
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
