Job Description
- Req#: 240512
- Prepare customer orders by picking products from shelves and using scanners or other systems.
- Ensure proper product rotation and replenish stock.
- Wrap and stage orders for transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, following safety rules.
- Inspect equipment before use regularly through shift and report issues to ensure safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned and assist in other areas as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate; minimum 1-year work experience in a warehouse environment, preferred.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal shift hours to accommodate all work schedules.
- Ability to operate warehouse power equipment (pallet jacks, ride jacks, forklifts) is preferred.
- Frequent use of hands for handling, reaching, and talking or hearing. Employees will often stand, walk, bend, kneel, or crouch, and occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
- Good vision is needed, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustments.
- Employees may need to lift 50 pounds.
- Operating heavy machinery like pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Exposure to temperature changes from refrigerated rooms and open breezeways.
- Loud machinery noise.
