Job Description

- Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the back shift
- Lead, engage, coach and develop a large team of warehouse colleagues and team managers
- Be responsible for maintaining the health and safety of your colleagues
- Make sure that key operational metrics, targets and budgets set for the shift are met, with an emphasis on performance management
- Build positive relationships with a range of internal and external partners, including 3rd party agencies, suppliers, and trade unions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing a large team within a complex, fast-paced environment
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate the workloads of yourself and your team
- Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
- A passion for supporting and developing others

Warehouse Shift Manager – Back Shift
£42,500 - £56,500 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 5)
Back Shift (2pm to 10pm), 5 days over 7, every other weekend
Lea Green, WA9 5AUWe’re looking for a warehouse shift manager to join us at our Lea Green depot to look after all aspects of the warehouse operation during each back shift (2pm to 10pm). The role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
In this role, you’ll lead, develop, and engage a multi-skilled team of depot colleagues. You’ll have a team of 10 direct reports and up to 200 indirect reports. We’ll also look to you to drive health and safety within the depot and be responsible for controlling costs and delivering our colleague engagement programmes.
