      Your Role

      Mission

      Execute shipping, receiving, and warehouse functions in a safe, timely, and accurate manner. Deliver and pick up parts/equipment to support Field Service Technicians at customer sites. Keep the warehouse clean and orderly. The position also involves checking in, checking out, maintaining, shipping, receiving, and calibrating the regional shared tools.

      Roles and Responsibilities

      Order fulfillment, shipping/receiving (30%) - Pick parts for customer orders using appropriate material handling equipment as needed. Pack materials and products for shipment to customers, create packing slips, entry of order information in shipping system (e.g., FedEx, UPS). Write bill of ladings for truck shipments. Receive and warehouse incoming parts, periodic inventory of stock, warehouse/shop maintenance, keep inventory highly organized in accordance with our ISO9001 procedures (includes Nonconformance process). Organize and process parts returns.

      Parts & Equipment delivery/pickup (20%) - Arrange deliveries and pick-up in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Inspect arriving goods for any damage and document outgoing goods to show condition when leaving. Use an assigned system to track deliveries.

      Building Activities (15%) - Work with vendors/landlord to keep the building and building systems maintained including HVAC, fire alarms, burglar alarms, sprinkler systems, plumbing, sewer, electrical, fire extinguisher annual inspections, and schedule warehouse equipment maintenance (e.g., forklifts). Ensure the parking lot and building entry is clear and safe. Perform monthly building walk arounds with Service Manager and correct any problems found.

      Shared Regional Tools (15%) - Maintain the regional shared tools. Using current tool tracking software to ensure check-out, check-in, calibration, condition, and inventory. Ensuring the tools leave and return complete and in working order.

      Warehouse Activities (20%) - Maintain a tidy and highly organized environment. Ensure all machines are color tagged, everything on racking is clearly identifiable, and keep aisles and walkways clear at all times. Arranging for proper waste disposal per ISO like oil, electronics, scrap metal, etc. Ensure Technicians working in the shop are safe and maintaining a tidy work area.

      Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.

      Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

      Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

      Perform other duties as assigned.

      Supervisory Responsibility

      None.

      Experience

      3-5 years of successful experience in shipping/receiving/warehouse functions is preferred.

      Education

      High School Diploma.

      Skills

      Demonstrated knowledge of shipping, receiving, and other warehouse functions. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks. Must be an independent self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Must be able to work efficiently with a high level of accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to work effectively in an SAP environment. Mechanical aptitude and a valid drivers' license are required.
