      This is an inventory specific role, will be placed at and working from Pipe. (500 Industrial Court)

      About the Role

      A Warehouse Specialist I is someone that demonstrated that they are proficient at being a Material Coordinator and a Logistics Clerk. These team members can be relied on for their logistics knowledge. A Warehouse Specialist I has a willingness to train team members on both skill sets. They also have a working knowledge of what is contained in both Material Coordinator and Logistics Clerk training checklists.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Can analyze and interpret the production schedule.

      • Able to unload and receive resin properly, including receipt inspections.

      • Must be capable of picking and shipping finished goods through IQMS.

      • Can be inserted to either side of logistics and perform competently.

      • Understand the established QSP’s and use them to better document best practices.

      • Know all safety requirements of the department and demonstrate the knowledge by promptly reporting any concerns.

      • Aid in Material Review Board requisitions.

      • Use safe driving and forklift practices.

      • Capable of calling out any unsafe activities.

      • Maintain, clean, and keep an organized workspace.

      • Store materials in the most accessible and efficient means possible.

      • Preform all necessary data entry functions to ensure data function and control.

      • Be a leader in physical inventories.

      • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

      Requirements:

      • Education: High School diploma

      • 3 or more years of warehouse experience

      • Training and experience with ERP systems and UPS/FedEx shipping

      • Knowledge of LTL and TL freight

      • Preferred forklift certification.

      • Ability to navigate through CoC/CoA requirements.

      • Understands FIFO and can practice it.

      • 3 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, extruded plastics preferred.

      • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

      • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.

      • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

      • Ability to use of Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

      • Travel Requirements 0 – 10%
