      Job Description

      Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of the warehouse employees by expediting the flow of material and parts, and ensuring that documentation, instructions, and the material is generated and delivered to the plant to support production schedules by performing the following duties.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      - Evaluates written data such as job orders, product specifications, and operations sheets, parts and materials inventory lists, and compiles the information into weekly and monthly progress and forecast reports.

      - Uses data to monitor workload capacity of assembly lines and confers with production management regarding issues that could affect the on-time delivery of products to customers.

      - Coordinates production plans and schedules with manufacturing.

      - Provides data as required to the organization to assist in forecasting, estimating, and scheduling of goods in process and need for future orders.

      - Analyzes inventory reports and surplus stock lists to determine the need for improvement in control methods; directs the initiation of corrective measures to ensure inventory balance.

      - Collaborates with Production and Purchasing to ensure smooth flow of materials and to resolve any issues affecting production schedules.

      - Determines work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedites workflow.

      - Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

      Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree required along with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience preferably in a manufacturing and/or warehouse setting.
