      Position Overview


      The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and engaging operations employees in CJ Logistics Americau2019s Logistics Center to achieve productivity goals. The Warehouse Supervisor will manage a shift and will spend most of the time coaching and leading the operations team to efficiently and safely achieve production and quality goals. The role will collaborate with various CJ Logistics Americau2019s teams on implementing continuous improvement initiatives and leading practices.

      Position Responsibilities

      Engage the Workforce
      u25AA Interact with and motivate the workforce
      u25AA Conduct daily shift meetings
      u25AA Solve problems and address issues for employees
      u25AA Regularly communicate team goals and results

      Deliver Operational Performance (including Productivity and Efficiency Targets)
      u25AA Understand and communicate shift, Customer and Logistics Center goals
      u25AA Execute the daily work plan by adjusting the workflow to meet goals
      u25AA Implement CJ Logistics Americau2019s Labor Management Program (performance
      observations)
      u25AA Provide front line feedback on staffing needs to the General Manager and Warehouse Manager

      Manage Employee Performance (including Safety, Quality and Productivity)
      u25AA Provide coaching through observations and provide performance feedback
      u25AA Track and communicate Forklift Operator performance
      u25AA Conduct safety observations and participate in Safety Committee
      u25AA Monitor and manage employee time, attendance and payroll

      Ensure Implementation of Leading Practices
      u25AA Job shadow Forklift Operators
      u25AA Identify training and cross-training needs
      u25AA Conduct on-the-job training with Forklift Operators
      u25AA Perform process quality checks and program management

      Connect employees to customer business objectives
      u25AA Communicate customer specific requirements
      u25AA Review Logistics Center performance against Customer requirements
      u25AA Help the Operations Specialists to feel more connected to the larger customer goals


      Job Qualifications

      Required
      u25AA Bacheloru2019s degree
      u25AA 1-3 years of direct supervisory experience
      u25AA Skills in leadership, organization, communication and cross functional teamwork
      u25AA Emphasis on safety is extremely important

      Preferred
      u25AA Understanding of warehousing operations with experience in a distribution and/or
      manufacturing environment
      u25AA Familiarity with MHE
      u25AA Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
      u25AA Familiarity with warehouse management systems or Red Prairie WMS is a plus

      u25AA Ability shift priorities easily, and multi-task in a highly transactional environment
      u25AA Excellent problem-solving skills
      u25AA Ability to engage with the workforce and create a positive environment and culture
