      Lumos is looking for a full-time Warehouse Supervisor!       Essential Functions

      • Leads daily operations of the warehouse in alignment with established priorities; expediting orders or actions as necessary in order to meet critical SLAs.
      • Plans and allocates resources to accomplish productivity & quality objectives.
      • Plans and implements systems and processes that set up the team for success.
      • Expedites orders, updates supervisory-level operating systems, and researches new products and services to provide ongoing training for the warehouse team.
      • Interacts with multiple internal teams and external vendors to gauge team productivity requirements; manages to appropriate threshold and run rate levels.
      • Removes obstacles or coaches team on how to navigate them in order to meet deadlines.
      • Drives continuous process improvement to keep safe, maximize efficiency, and reduce costs.
      • Maintains financial and physical controls for on-hand inventory valued in excess of $30M.
      • Evaluates employee performance; identifies appropriate training and coaching opportunities; selects candidates for hire to build and maintain a high-performing team.
      • Performs other duties as assigned, including departmental and cross-functional projects.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

      • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
      • Solid people leader: open to giving and taking direction, as well collaborative work styles & a commitment to get the job done.
      • Competent computer and organizational skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
      • Excellent vendor relations and customer service skills.

      Other Experience & Requirements

      • 6+ years’ warehouse experience required.
      • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
      • Demonstrated experience negotiating with suppliers, and setting and measuring against KPIs in a warehousing and inventory space.
      • May travel to other warehouses with appropriate notice.
      • Valid state driver’s license.
      • Forklift experience & experience with physical inventory and cycle counts preferred.
      • Proactive, independent, and ability to take initiative to keep on-task and on-target.
      • Fiber or Telecom industry experience preferred.
