      Join our start-up team and develop your career in supply chain for our new distribution center opening early February 2024. We are recruiting for Warehouse Case pickers for our new 300,000 sqft facility in Elora.

      What’s in it for you?

      An opportunity for training and obtaining inhouse certification on double walkie machines. We are looking for warehouse workers who are looking to develop new skills and become a part of our brand new facility.

      • Salary: $22.15 / hour
      • Incentive bonus payable
        • $2.00 / hour (Double Walkie Operator)
        • $.50 / hour Afternoon Shift Premium
      • Travel to West Mississauga is required from December to February. Travel for training allowance provided (food & mileage)
      • Equipment training will be provided (previous certification is not required)

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Check and assemble product according to customer order requirements
      • Consolidate product using RF and Workstation
      • Print/Produce Shipping Labels and Check Verification sheets from RP Workstation
      • Validate accuracy of product, quantity and lot codes picked on/for each order to ensure customer service standards are met
      • Assist in the effective completion of inventory audits, as required
      • Maintain a clean, secure, well organized work area
      • Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, strapping and discard in proper containers or designated areas as required
      • Demonstrate respect for the organization’s values on a daily basis, while maintaining and upholding company policies & procedures

      EXPERIENCE

      • At least 1-year warehouse experience in a General Labour position
      • Proven work experience using a computer keyboard, data accuracy with ability to read English
      • Experience with a RF scanner
      • Previous experience with an automated Warehouse Management System would be an asset

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Good verbal communication skills
      • Must be capable of standing, lifting and walking for extended periods of time
      • Service orientated with strong customer service skills and commitment to quality of work
      • Able to lift, on average 50 lbs, repetitively and safely
      • Strong team player, but also able to work effectively independently
      • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills - able to follow instructions
      • Organized and shows strong attention to detail with the ability to use math to ensure accuracy

      EDUCATION

      • Some High School, preferably a High School Diploma
