  Ocean Beauty Seafoods is a large and well-known Seafood Distribution Company. Our Astoria, Oregon distribution facility is looking for a part time Warehouse Worker to work in our warehouse.
  
  We are looking for someone that has experience handling and processing fresh and frozen meat or seafood. This is an important position with room to make decisions, work with plant and sales personnel, and be a strong member of the team. Pay starting at $20 per hour depending on experience.
  
  ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Understand safety and manufacturing practices in the handling of food products
  • You will be involved in warehouse operations from the beginning to the end of the process.
  • May be tasked with receiving product and capturing weights accurately
  • May help our quality team with performing evaluations including taking temperatures of fresh product
  • Sorting, and stacking pallets as well as accurately counting boxes
  • May involve driving/delivering our product.

  REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires a self-starter with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team and follow written and verbal directions.
  • Must possess a good safety record and have experience in operating a pallet jack.
