Autoliv Warehouse Worker

Job purpose:
Under the direction of the area Supervisor, responsible to work closely with production/shipping/customers to transport materials of airbag inflator component parts and completed products to and from manufacturing lines. Responsibilities include loading/unloading material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand. Conveys materials using forklift, taylor dunn, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials. Maintains responsibility for lean manufacturing practices. Ensures material inventory, quality control standards and production schedules are adequately maintained.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Load and unload trailers with use of forklift.
• Load and unload material by hand from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines.
• Stack or assemble material
• Document inventory as required
• Operate motor equipment safely and maintain it with care
• Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
• Must be able to preform work that is repetitive in nature
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Other duties as assigned Education and Experience
• High School Diploma/ GED preferred
• 6 months production preferred
• Must meet ATF requirements
• Must be detail oriented
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills
Working conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to flammable material; and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Personal Protective Equipment may include safety glasses, smock, gloves, wrist-o-stat, flame retardant suit, hearing protection, steal toe shoes, and face shield.
Days: 5:45 am - 2:00 pm Swings: 1:45 pm - 10:00 pm Grave: 9:45pm - 6:00 am
