Warehouse Shipping/Receiving
Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Warehouseman to be based out of New Bedford MA. Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor, this person will be responsible for warehouse duties including but are not limited to picking, packing, cycle counting, material handling, loading and unloading trailers.
What you’ll do:
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
• Sort & move palletized and bulk materials in and out of containers, loading docks, racks, and storage areas
• Use RF scanner/computer to retrieve product codes, part numbers, product quantities, location information etc.
• Be certified and operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts.
• Perform cycle counts as needed
• Ensure all operating procedures, safety guidelines, and all plant rules are being followed dailyWhat you’ll bring:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 3+ years of Forklift Certification/Previous Experience operating is preferred
• 3+ years of Warehouse experience in a retail/large box distribution center is preferred
• Intermediate computer PC/RF scanner skills
• Ability to lift and manipulate up to 60lbs
• Standing and walking up to 12 hours per day
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background checkWithin 3 months, you’ll:
• Be proficient in the functions of the RF scanner
• Be certified in all applicable PIT equipment
• Have an intermediate knowledge of the warehouse and locations of productsWho we are:
