      Req#: R-007545
      Time served engineer/technician (typically apprenticed). Specific technical skills such as PLC control, programming (robots, multi-axis CNCs etc.), specialist fabrication etc. Operates more complex and more technically demanding processes. Focuses on daily and weekly activities. Performance of multiple activities specific in objective and content but require specific relatively complex technical skills and training to undertake.
      • Focused on protecting our people and we set high safety standards by working together we can make sure we all have a safe working environment and achieve and maintain a strong safety culture.

      • Ensures that Base Slurry & Wash-coat Batching activities and other assigned responsibilities are carried out effectively and efficiently as to superior’s instruction and established procedures/standards to meet departmental objectives.

      • Responsible for instruction given by superior to ensure Base Slurry & Wash-coat Batching activities are carried out timely and that established Batching KPI targets are met.
      • Controlling approved parameters as per established procedures/standards in Base Slurry & Wash-coat Batching operation in order to prevent non-conformance Base Slurry & Wash-coat produced.

      • Maintain good and timely documentation of related processes thus ensuring traceability and proper identification of raw materials, WIP and Finished Goods.
      • Provide backup for Production Senior Operator in their absence and resume responsibilities at other sections where required to ensure these sections Batching requirements are met.

      • Participate in improvement activities by working closely with Technicians, Engineers and other cross-functional operational staff to meet continuous improvement objectives for Batching.

      • Comply to 5S requirements, safe working practices, health and safety, environmental and quality procedures always in Batching as per JM established principles and policies.

      • Inspect, conduct autonomous maintenance task and immediately report abnormalities of operating equipment.

      • Actively engaged in continuous learning for personal growth and development by attending identified trainings.

      • Be a part of ERP (Emergency Response Plan) responder team to ensure all emergency incidents are attended as and when required.

      • Take on any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

      Duties and responsibilities will be extended to other departments as and when required.
