      Two openings are available for Wastewater Collections Technician in the Watershed Services Department. Overall duties will include, but are not limited to, performing a variety of duties related to the cleaning of sewer mains, and other applications that require the use and operation of a Vac Con/Camera truck. The successful candidate would be responsible for, but not limited to, operating or assisting the operator of the Vac Con/Camera truck on duties assigned as well as light maintenance on the truck and related equipment, and keeping the truck and related equipment clean. Responsible for assisting in a wide variety of duties necessary in maintaining, cleaning, repairing, and diagnosing conditions related to the sewer mains and manholes. This position is responsible for maintaining proper records and reports. Successful applicant should either currently hold or have the ability to obtain Class A Commercial Driver?s license within 6 months of hire date. Ability to obtain Georgia Wastewater Collection System Operator license and Water Distribution System Operator license is a prerequisite for advancement.

      This position is Monday ? Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and is required to work on call stand-by rotation in the Wastewater Collections and Water Distribution Departments.

      $16.25 ? 32.45/hour (Includes Levels 4 ? 1)
