The City of New Prague (pop. 8,340) is seeking applications for the position of Wastewater Superintendent to perform supervisory and management as well as operational and maintenance duties at our Class A Biological Aerated Filter Wastewater Treatment Plant and 8 Lift Stations. This is a non-exempt working Superintendent position (50-70% office and 30-50% field). This includes but is not limited to the following: operations, repairs, and maintenance; collecting samples and performing tests; evaluating, calibrating, and troubleshooting equipment; preparing and maintaining operations & maintenance records; working with engineers and regulators; budgeting and planning; pretreatment program administration; and participation in an on-call rotation with 30-minute response time to the wastewater treatment plant.
