  Pay Rate:

  The pay rate for this job is $20 - $28 / hour*

  What you'll be doing as a Waterway Maintenance Worker:

  • Under the supervision of the manager or field supervisor
  • The employees will handle various duties such as manually skimming debris like leaf litter and related materials
  • Maintaining clean sidewalks around waterway, responding to questions from the public
  • Keeping records, operating a small boat and off-road utility vehicle,
  • Keeping work space tidy, performing water quality monitoring, among other duties

  Available shifts:

  Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

  Job requirements:

  • Qualified candidate must be physically fit, capable of lifting 50 lbs when needed, and have a valid driver's license
  • Monday through Friday with Saturday and Sunday potentials, some flexibility of schedule is possible.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of operating a small boat with an outboard engine.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs short distances and be capable of using hand tools on a daily basis.
  • Subject to outside environmental conditions in winter, summer, and rainy weather.
  • Will include supporting algae and aquatic plant management, light mechanical work, water sampling, and other related activities
  • Supporting light equipment maintenance and running errands
  • Background check and drug screening required
