      Qualifications

      Basic Requirements:

      Education:

      • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

      Experience:

      • Minimum of two years continuous work experience post high school.
      • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
      • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

      Preferred:

      • Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience
      • Prior experience using soldering irons or hot irons.
      • Interest in arts and crafts

      Responsibilities

      Description

      The Wax Cell Operator will assemble patterns from an injected wax mold and perform minor repairs (add or remove wax based on work instructions) to wax assemblies as required.

      • Interpret, adhere, and comply with all work instructions.
      • Follow through with engineering change requests/orders.
      • Understanding of both SAE and Metric measurement systems
      • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
      • Ability to use common hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, flashlights, and torque wrenches)
      • Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts per day in a manufacturing environment (to include weekends and mandatory overtime)
      • Must be able to work well with others (manufacturing cell concept)
      • Excellent hand-eye dexterity/coordination
      • Familiarity with updated technology (accessing files, scanning, recording data)
      • Ability to identify and communicate quality concerns.
      • Must be able to stand for a full shift within a production environment.
      • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs.

      Skills and Abilities:

      *Must have prompt and consistent attendance to include overtime as scheduled*

      • Ability to read and follow documents such as Plant rules, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
      • Ability to compute basic mathematical functions to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
      • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
