      The Wealth Senior Risk Officer will support the day-to-day execution of Wealth’s first-line risk management framework. The professional will closely follow latest trends in the industry and adapts them for application within the role. This role will analyze and synthesize various risk management data elements and reports to proactively identify and mitigate risks for our business. This role will be engaged in driving policy compliance across the Enterprise Risk Management Framework for the Wealth organization. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other functional areas. Accountable for significant direct business advice regarding the operations and risk profile of the business. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

      Responsibilities:

      • Support the Wealth Enterprise Risk Management Framework across Risk Identification, Scenario Analysis, Risk Monitoring and Risk Appetite Statement
      • Evaluating the likelihood and impact of identified risks, using risk inventory, risk matrices, and risk heat maps
      • Basic knowledge of risk and control management framework
      • Monitor the status and performance of risks and risk response plans, using metrics like key risk indicators (KRIs), risk scores, and risk dashboards.
      • Basic understanding of CCAR/Stress Testing, and Scenario analysis process
      • Support the ERM framework that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and risk appetite.
      • Work closely with business units and multiple stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices.

      Qualifications:

      • 10+ years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, Compliance or other control function
      • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
      • Excellent communication and organizational skills required
      • SQL, Python, or R, Excel VBA. Database administrator experience is a plus

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

      $144,480.00 - $216,720.00
