      Overview:

      The Web Channel Content Strategist will oversee development of all content for our Six Flags Parks & Resorts websites. In this role, you will be responsible for curating, creating, and managing content across various park brands, ensuring consistency, engagement, and alignment with our brand voice. Working with Product Marketing and Regional marketing stakeholders to ensure content and delivery align with brand and revenue/activation initiatives.


      Responsibilities:
      • Design, edit, and proofread web content, including events, product descriptions, landing pages, and more, ensuring consistency in tone and style.
      • Implement SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and meta tag creation, to improve organic search rankings.
      • Ensure content is optimized for various devices, ensuring a seamless user experience.
      • Assist in the development and execution of content strategies that align with the company’s marketing goals and target audience.
      • Monitor and analyze the performance of web content in collaboration with the Campaign Insights team, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
      • Provide regular updates on content to the web infrastructure team for implementation.
      • Collaborate with Regional park marketing product teams to create content that supports broader marketing initiatives.
      • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and accessibility standards.

      Qualifications:
      • Education required: B.S. Degree in Marketing, Graphics, Communications or another related field
      • Minimum years of experience required: 10 or more years in marketing, with previous experience developing a successful lead generation and nurturing program
      • Familiarity with automation CMS tools
      • Understanding of web specs, download speeds, SEO, and responsive design a plus
      • Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred
      • Strong business acumen and results-oriented
      • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Comfortable working cross-functionally
