What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, write, and deliver compelling, impact-oriented copy for the agency website and other communications vehicles
- Maintain and update content on the agency’s website with a focus on services, resources, events, projects, and staff bios
- Write captivating headlines and teasers to ensure high content engagement
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to maximize online visibility
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, marketing, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing content for digital platforms
- Knowledge of education and human development fields is desirable
- Well-honed writing skills with a knack for engaging copy
- Web editing skills and ability to organize site content effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in research and consulting services
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress
- Excellent critical reading and thinking skills
- Strong understanding of online content performance in search engines
