      Works as part of the team that is responsible for the overall function, design, development and maintenance of the College of Arts and Sciences' (ASC) web applications and full custom research applications. Meets with units/product owners to assess application needs; designs and implements applications/web sites to specifications; updates site content as needed; works within ASC's best practices to ensure coding and maintenance standards. Troubleshoots and corrects problems with existing applications. Ensures all ASC applications and web sites comply with regulatory and usability standards/requirements. Monitors site and application performance; researches, recommends and implements improvements.

      Required - BA/BS in Computer Information Science or a related field or equivalent experience. Two years of experience in web application development and database design. Experience with Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Git. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with users of various backgrounds.

      Desired – Knowledge AI tools, models, and concepts.

The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors.       The pay range for this job profile is $64,300 - $84,550. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
